For me there are two stories. One of my past. The other is of possibility and purpose, or a new story of the present. Years ago I had the honor to meet John O'Donohue. He was speaking at a church across from American University. I will never forgot how I asked him a question in a very non ordinary way. I stood up shaking around many people. I said that dying was easy but I asked how may I overcome the fear to live. He responded with our vital need to belong.
